Time Jumper

In March of 2010, I entered the “Time Jumper” contest that director Stan Lee was doing with Disney for his new line of motion comics for this iTunes series of video stories about a time jumping kid named Terry Dixon, who learned valuable lessons from history as he leaped thru time and searched for clues from his father. I thought to use the contest as a test case to illustrate how a virtual world could be used as a film set for a TV show.  I thought perhaps a man like Stan Lee (who helped create such fictional characters as Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, X-Men) could see the hidden gem of virtual worlds for use as a film stage for TV shows.  Shown below is the entry I submitted for the contest.  Unfortunately, the contest turned out to be one of simply most popular vote instead of most innovative ideas.  I have never been one to go around asking my friends to vote for me. Oh well.  It was a fun contest to enter and allowed me to express my creativity in a new way.  Not sure if Time Jumper is still around, but here is the website for the show:  http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/animatedfilms/timejumper/
